Gratitude Journal Day 68

Today I am grateful for…

  1. my roommate, Jenni. Sometimes we have the best vent sessions.
  2. finally getting all of my dishes and laundry done. Now I just have to find the time to tackle my room.
  3. my friends at KSBY. They make my day entertaining.
  4. splitting food with my best friend… again. We had pesto cheese raviolis at California Pizza Kitchen for dinner… yummy!
  5. starting our house hunt for next year… here we go!
  6. the Starbucks employee who helped us save some cash by letting us know about their buy-one-get-one-free promotion.
  7. experiencing Starbucks‘ new Vanilla Spice Latte. It’s always good to try new things.
  8. also trying Birthday Cake Oreos for the first time. I’m not so sure my thighs are grateful for them though…
  9. finding the energy and the focus to stay up until all hours of the night studying for my midterm.

Gratitude Journal Day 64

Today I am grateful for…

  1. interviewing a former FBI agent for CPTV this morning.
  2. trying Nucci’s Pizza for the first time. Yummy!
  3. a stimulating lecture in my Human Genetics class. I’m so glad I decided to take it this quarter.
  4. Starbucks. Sometimes it’s the only thing that keeps me awake during long nights of editing.
  5. Cal Poly SLO’s Confessions Facebook page. It could entertain me for hours.
  6. my broadcasting friends. I haven’t met any other group of people who I can stand being around as much as I’m around them.

Gratitude Journal Day 43

Today I am grateful for…

  1. surviving my first Daybreak shift at KSBY.
  2. getting all of the interviews I needed for this week’s CPTV show. I was doubtful for a little while…
  3. the adorable dog running around the aerospace hanger building that I filmed a news story at today. I wanted to steal him.
  4. sweats and Uggs. After walking around all day in heels, I really appreciate comfy clothes.
  5. Starbucks on Cal Poly’s campus being open until midnight. The only thing keeping me awake to write this right now is the Chai Tea Latte I had around 10:00 p.m.
  6. my first CPTV all-nighter of the quarter. College just wouldn’t be the same if I got a full night of sleep. haha
  7. having the knowledge to help new CPTV students. It’s weird that I’m one of the people in the class with the most experience now!
  8. having Adobe Premiere on my laptop. It makes editing my news stories so much easier.

Gratitude Journal Day 34

Today I am grateful for…

  1. getting excited about my Theater class. I’ve been kind of dreading it, but I’m excited to see lots of shows for extra credit and learn about the history behind the stage!
  2. the Starbucks on campus. It saved my life after running late to class and skipping breakfast. I was starving!
  3. two hour breaks between my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays that will force me to be productive!
  4. having a friend in my Genetics class. I almost passed out today during our first class and that would have been really awkward if she wasn’t there. Thanks, Brianna!
  5. finally catching up on these Gratitude Journals. It had been way too long.
  6. my mommy. Being a grown up is scary and sometimes I need to call her to be reminded that I’m still a kid in someone’s life.
