Gratitude Journal Day 76

Today I am grateful for…

  1. my first day of herb-o-loading. Yes, I just made that word up. It’s my term for taking as many herbs and supplements as I can in hopes of avoiding sickness (particularly my roommate’s mono).
  2. finally getting to use my new bubble umbrella I got in New York. We had a pretty rainy day in San Luis Obispo.
  3. prioritizing. As much as I wanted to go to my ceramics class, studying for my midterm came first.
  4. my friend, who loaned me a quarter to buy a scantron.
  5. a nice chat with my best friend over coffee.
  6. a really fun Trivia Night with my Honors Student Board peeps. Turns out, I’m better at trivia than I thought. Did you know a lighting bolt is 3 TIMES as hot as the sun!? Me neither… until I guessed it RIGHT!
  7. Facebook chats that make me giggle. And just for the record, giggling is totally different from laughing.
  8. the incredible pastries I mentioned yesterday. Oops.. I did it again. (but only one this time!)
  9. my friend, Katie. She always sends me the best Snapchats.
  10. Vick’s VapoRub. It’s my first time ever using it and it’s fantastic!

Gratitude Journal Day 64

Today I am grateful for…

  1. interviewing a former FBI agent for CPTV this morning.
  2. trying Nucci’s Pizza for the first time. Yummy!
  3. a stimulating lecture in my Human Genetics class. I’m so glad I decided to take it this quarter.
  4. Starbucks. Sometimes it’s the only thing that keeps me awake during long nights of editing.
  5. Cal Poly SLO’s Confessions Facebook page. It could entertain me for hours.
  6. my broadcasting friends. I haven’t met any other group of people who I can stand being around as much as I’m around them.
